In 2011 Dave’s contribution to the club has been immense. His continued responsibility for running match days which members just need to turn up to running ‘open’ matches which has enabled the club to consolidate both its financial situation and also has added to the clubs reputation. Despite criticisms from some quarters he continues to promote the club in many ways. The clubs Fur & Feather match which offer all members who fish a prize that the majority of other clubs can only envy The press coverage and competitors are the silver fish matches illustrate this. His proactive and can do approach to all matters fishing will ensure that the clubs aims and met and that new things will be introduced for members ensuring that we lead where other clubs may follow.

Anthony (Tony) Staite.
Always ready to help out where required within any area of the club, his support has been invaluable.Again maintaining the tools we need to maintain the pool to make sure they work every time they are needed to helping out on match days, Tony is always ready to lend a hand. On a personal level Tony has had a mixed season on the match fishing front, the loss of his ‘silver fish expert’ reputation to catching 100lbs plus in a competitive match. The coming year will see Tony continue to promote the club in many ways.

Steve Hope
Steve’s contribution to the club has been immeasurable and has exceeded the expectations of every one with regards to the clubs web site.Almost single handed he has developed the web site and from a standing start has seen the club have over 500,000 hits in less than two years a feat envied by other angling web sites. In addition to the hits an average of 50 people a day actually looked at the site, this mammoth achievement has been instrumental in the clubs development and enhancing of its reputation. On match days his desire to talk fishing and share his knowledge has endeared him to other members of the club. For health reasons didn’t fish as many matches as he would have liked he is raring to go in 2012.His willingness to accept new challenges can only be to the benefit of the club and its members.

Mark ” Jock”Eriksen
Even by his own standards Jock’s achievement this year in raising funds for the club have been exceptional, given the difficult current financial situation we are all experiencing. He has ensured that the cash flow of the club has been consistent and his achievements have put the club on a sound financial footing for the coming year.He continues to be innovative in the way in which he raises funds; members are not always supportive of his ideas, without his success we would have to increase member fees by a substantial amount. The coming year will present him with endless problems in these difficult times which everyone feels he will overcome, if anyone can he can, please support him.
